Description: This is a Metareal piece. META means, "Messianic Enlightenment Through Art." Art that does not illustrate Biblical spirituality, but rather reflects spiritual "states of being" in visual metaphor. Here we see the Madonna (from the Pieta of Michelangelo) looking down at the soul of man in the "Circle of Reality." She is floating on hearts reflecting the infinity symbol or infinite love.

There is a little embryo coming off the border like a tail from the circle with the "Soul" standing near the son. The embryo symbolizes rebirth. The floating eyes stand for the omnipresence of God. The face of Christ peels back the levels (or planes) of reality, which intersect with the Rainbow or light, which allows perception. As reality peels away more floating eyes (five for the five senses) are revealed.

The child on the lower right side means innocence or the personification of faith. Or rather the childlike faith one must have when coming to the Father, and that faith is looking at you.
